Outrun the Truth
C1 = Ted Phillips – Protagonist (main character)
C2 = Autumn Hill – Dog walker (the victim)

Scene 1
The setting – The forest low-key lighting, there is no other people walking around meaning she is alone. Around 8:00 at night.
Autumn Hill will be wearing bright colour gym clothes – leggings, trainers and hoodie – hair will be down. The women is in her early 20s.
The camera shot slowly tilts upwards to show the young girl walking around, with headphones in listening to music.
The branches of twigs start snapping (music stops) – sound of someone stepping on them. The facial expression of Autumn should be scared and confused as we get a closeup of her face. She takes one earphone out of her ear making the music come back but in the form of earphones. C2 continues walking – with caution.
Closeup of someone’s body going past a tree or bush – C1 has arrived at the scene.
Autumn (C2) shows fear expression on her face.
A close up of her eyes darting in different directions should be shown to represent the girls awareness that she may be in danger.
Autumn should start to breathe quicker.
Ted – Will be wearing dark clothes. Black hoodie, black tracksuit joggers, black cap and sunglasses.
Ted should be getting closer to autumn every time and this will be shown
A chase scene begins, with different camera angles of each person running quicker. We see the man in the background of majority of the clips to show that each time he is getting closer and closer. Each clips should speed up, to give off a level of urgency.
POV shot from C1 running right behind C2, running through the woods.
Camera flips to a different angle to show C1 hitting C2 on the head with a massive branch, which knocks her out.
(During this the name of the production company will appear – M&A Production.)
Screen fades to clack
A montage starts
First section of the montage of Ted Phillips in the bathroom and the camera is showing clips of the boy washing his face, each time there is a clip of him getting ready for dinner, there will be a credit name appearing for 3 seconds each.
As the boy gets ready, e.g. scenes of him leaving the bathroom, tying his shoe laces, applying his blazer and him exiting the bedroom and walking down the main steps. These scenes will all include the credits in the corners of each clip.
Medium shot – Ted exiting the bathroom into the bedroom, still in his casual clothes.
Short black screen will be presented to the audience, where a diegetic sound of clothing being rustled, like his shirt to represent him getting changed. Following scenes will consist of short clips of a close-up of Ted tying his shoe-laces. Medium-shot of his back putting on his blazer. Close-up of his back fixing his collar.
Medium shot – Ted exiting the bedroom into the stairwell.
Close-up shots will be used to show different angles of Ted walking down his staircase.
As he walks down the stairs we see that it is bright outside meaning it has been at least 12 hours since the attack. While the montage is occurring, the music will be very faint to help keep the tension. When the shot is back on ted there will be the diegetic noise of the water hitting the ground and some eerie music played on top. There will be a variety of different camera shots from long shots to extreme close ups.
Scene cuts to different location – Living Room
In the LIVING ROOM we see the family of Ted Phillips sitting round a table eating dinner as a family. The camera focuses on the mum walking into the room and setting the food in the middle of the table. Showing closeup of the food slowing going back to show her place the food on table. A long shot showing the mother sitting down at the table. The family should then connect hands.
While the family are getting ready to eat. The camera drops through the food down under the table, showing the floor/ceiling, then the room where Autumn Hill is. Close up of Autumns eyes flickering side to side, (panting and crying). The camera pans down to show her arm. Cuts straight to show her whole body on the floor, she tried to screen
Cuts back to show a medium close up of Ted’s face as he smirks we hear a muffled scream
